the mayor of ghost town(part 4)

Matt meet Jimmy, and he discussed that there is some changes with some of the part of the map.
"now you need shop? you need to have additional money for this, you better think about it."
"yes, i know."
Mat go to the city. he think he cannot use poster to attract the people to come to the town. "i need people who has money to come to this town.... but how...."


and as he think, a pair of newly married husband and wife, Mr and Mrs Baker come. "Mr Matt?"
"yes?"
"the one who post for the house vacancy?"
"yes."
" do you have a cheap house? we're looking for one but it's so expensive and we couldn't bought it."
"oh yes we have! in the Ghost Town!"
"Ghost Town? what a weird name... oh whatever, as long as we can open our bakery shop."
"all right!.....bakery..... ah, whatever."
"what did you say?" ask Mr Baker.
"oh nothing, let's go."
and so, the Baker Bakery open in the Ghost Town.

the townspeople has less complaining but still complaining.
another month has gone, but another problem arise.
"MATT!! THIS PERSON STOLE MY APPLE SEED!"
"NO! HE STOLE MINE!"
"NO!! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO STOLE!!"
"ENOGUH!!!" shout Matt with wrong spelling." okay, i got it, you, pay him back the apple seed, and, stop stealing!"
one of the problem stop, "this is what will happen when the town does not have a security."
Matt meet uncle."uncle..."
"what?"
"can i ask how much you have?"
"1000 gold."
"well, uncle...."
"use it all."
"what?! uncle i..."
"no need to say anything, i trust you. i know you can do it."
"uncle..."


so Matt went again to the city. this time he has to use a lot of money to hire the police for his town safety. then, Matt meet Dave, the big and strong policeman.


"Dave, i heard you can work for 24 hours, is that true?"
"yes,"
"How much do you need for the money?"
"1000 gold."
"WHAT!! THAT IS TOO MUCH!!! don't you know you can feed 14 hungry children with just 10 gold??"
"i have 14 children including my pregnant wife. that is my salary for a month."
"goodness, our town can be doomed..." and idea come to Matt.
"how about you worked for 200 gold a month..."

"WAIT! LISTEN FIRST! YOU BRING YOUR FAMILY TO GHOST TOWN! WE CAN FEED YOUR FAMILY, YOU JUST FOCUS GIVING SECURITY IN THAT TOWN!"

"how about that? deal?"

"..."
"........."
"....deal."
"alright, thank you Dave."
"(whisper)thank god i make a farm..."

the mayor of ghost town(part 3)

Matt come back to the city and bring his family to the town. after he and his family moved, he put the posters around the city.


and he put the contact number on the posters. then he come back to the town to meet the old man.
"umm.... old man,"
"what?"
"it's quite hard for me to always calling you old man, can i call you uncle?"
"just call me whatever you like."
"then, uncle, do you have a map for this town?"
"yes, i do have, wait" uncle search and give him the map "here you go,"

"well? what are you gonna do with this?"
"i will rearrange the town."
"what are you gonna do?"
"we will plant the crop in this town. to do that, we need a large space to make a field."
"hah? planting the crops are not beneficial for the town don't you know that?"
"i know, but we need to prepare a job for our citizen in order to revive the town. and we need to provide the basic necessities for them too."
".... argh, just do whatever you want. i don't care anymore."
"thanks uncle."
and he leaves Matt. Matt do the rearrangement with the town's map. after he made the town map, he contacting Jimmy, the carpenter.
 
then he discussed with Jimmy with what he has planned. and Jimmy said,"my goodness, we need a large amount of money, do you have that?"
"yes i have," Matt use the money the uncle has that for him is useless.
a week later, jimmy made a progress with the town, and he got a call from the city. he went to city.
upon arriving at the city, Matt surprised with many homeless people.


they gathering toward Matt and ask him "we will work for you, but can you give us food first?"
Matt sighed and said "alright, i give you food for free today, but for the shelter, you all have to work, deal?"
"deal!" said all the homeless people.
after dealing with this people, the money uncle have now halved. now Matt has to be wise in money spending.
one month later, the town now has people that worked as a farmer. the crop just grow and still cannot be harvest, but a new problem arise.
"Matt, the shop at the city is expensive, why there is no groceries in this town?"
"oh, about that.."
"we also need a name in this town. who's gonna name it?"
"game town!"
"no! farmer town!"
"no! gills town!"
"that is your name! Barn town!"
"GRRRR!!" the town people start to fight.

"calm down everyone! okay, let's solve the town's name first."
the people silent and look at Matt. Matt looking around thinking of the town's name. he is actually clueless until he saw uncle. "YES! GHOST TOWN!"
"ghost town? why?"
"because before, nobody came to this town. this town is like a ghost until we came to revived it."
"not bad, it even match the history of this town."
"yeah, agree."
"yeah, yeah."
now Matt calm down seeing the people are agreeing with him. uncle look at him and go back to his house.
"now we need a shop, huh?" though Matt thinking of this town. he looks around the town and think that this town has made some progress.
"now how am i finding somebody to build their shops to this town...."

the mayor of ghost town(part 2)

soon, Matt arrives to the another land, and he searching the old man. long after he walks, he found a ruined village.


Matt search for the old man. and after a while, he found the old man bedridden in his old house.


the old man looks so tired, like he hasn't got any sleep for a few days. when Matt comes near him, he woke up.
"who is that?"
"it's me, the boy who you saved before."
"you? why are you coming back, didn't i told you never come back again..."
"i know i should repay your kindness, but i have a request."
"what is it?"
"can i bring my family to live in this place? we having a trouble living on our city."
"NO!"
"but..."
"NO! THAT IS MY ANSWER! YOU WHIPPERSNAPPER! BRING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE! THIS IS WHY I HATE COMMONERS AND CHILDREN! GET OUT! GET OUT!!! GGGEEEETTT OOUUUTTT!!!"
and he fainted.
"old man! OLD MAN!"
the old man is having a bad fever. Matt nurse the old man for a few days until he woke up. Matt though he will get scold again but the old man just silent while he nursed him.
".... no matter what.... i still need somebody to dig my grave...."
listening to the old man's word make him feels sad for the old man. thus, Matt asked him.
"why you live alone in this village?"
the silent moment come from the old man. a few moments later, he spoke.
"long ago, there was a town. this town are well known for its special mineral."

"in this town, there is a mayor. and this mayor does not satisfied with the money he got from its people. thus he increased the tax, increased the imported minerals and reduced the commoners salary. of course the mayor becoming rich and richer, but the people cannot live like this. and then, little by little, the people move out from the town. still, the mayor doesn't realize his mistakes and continue increasing the tax and imported minerals. until one day, the land cannot give the town any minerals. the people getting mad by what the mayor has done. and still, the mayor does not realize his own mistakes and keep demanding its people to keep on digging the land to find the minerals. alas, the land still did not giving any minerals to this town. the mayor becoming angry why the people does not come to his house and tells any news. he come out from his house, and what a surprise, he was the only one left in this town."


"and now the mayor live alone, in this ghost town for his own with his treasure that is useless..." the old man ends his story.
now Matt understand what really happened to this place. he began to pity this man. "old man, don't be sad, we can revived the town back."
"don't be ridiculous, we don't have anything that can help the town to revived. what can you and this old bone do?"
"you don't have to worry about that, i have an idea as long you willingly to help me."
"help you what?"
"can you help me let my families come and live with you?"
  

the mayor of ghost town(part1)

once, there's a boy name Matt who come to a big land on another side of the sea through his small raft. he come because he was challenged by his friend to find the mysteries of this land. he felt he found nothing and want to go back to his raft. by the time he come to the place where he put his raft, he realize his raft is gone.



Matt cry as hard as he can and running around the land for being stupid.

until he was calm down by an old man. but the old man calm the kid by scold him.



"YOU WHIPPERSNAPPER! STOP CRYING AND BE A MAN!!"
and so the boy stop crying. then the old man listen to his problem. once he heard the problem, he bring Matt back to a ruin village. Matt was really surprised to find a village, but only this one old man that live in this place. Matt ask many question but get scolded by the old man. now all Matt can do is just shut his mouth. "i let you sleep here, tomorrow, we make the raft."
and so, tomorrow, as the old man promise, he make a raft with Matt so that Matt can go back home. it took them 3 days to make the raft,
 

and so the old man said to Matt, "now you have the raft, go back to your home and never come back again."
Matt felt grateful for what the old man has done, and he wants to repay his deed, "i want to pay you back, what can i do for you?"
the old man annoyed and said,"i want nothing! if you really want to help, come back and DIG A GRAVE FOR ME!"
Matt surprised with the harsh word coming from that old man. still, he grateful for the raft.
once Matt went back home, he got scold worst than the old man.
 

time pass by, and Matt grew up from boy to a young man. Matt want to support his family, and he searching for job. finally, he managed to find a job.


but it is a really hard job because the money he gain are not enough for his family. and he also need to pay the expensive tax from mayor of the town. because of that, there are many homeless and jobless people in Matt's town.
soon, Matt cannot support his family no matter how hard he worked. this really worries Matt. after a while, he decides to sell some of his belongings to keep his family.


and then, when Matt gone home, he told his family what he's gonna do. after he search all his belongings, he remembered the old man he meets. suddenly he though up an idea and he went to meet the old man with his raft at first,


uh oh, his raft now cannot be used, now he has to buy a boat to go across the other land.

my first friend

i once hurt a boy.....

he is my first friend.....


it begins when i was in my first grade (7 years old). it's my first time using the school bus. at that time, my big sis who at 4th grade (10 years old) should guide me and stick with me, because at that time i was so young in my parents eyes. but she left me right when she enter the bus, i mean, she sit at a vacant seat where i can't find any of free vacant seat beside her. i do hate her at that time. only that time. so i search any place where i can sit. until at most back seat,

"you can sit here, there's a free space here."

i met him.

he's around same age as me, wearing glasses, light skin. he looks like a really nice person. i sit next to him.

"my name is K. what is your name?"

".....M"

"how old are you?"

"i'm 7."

"cool! we're same age! nice to meet you!"

"yeah, me too"

and then we talked about many things. soon the bus arrive to school, and we parted ways.

"well then, see you again, M!"

"yeah, K."

and the i look at my sis, she saw my glance. she make a guilty face, turn around and running fast to her class. what kind of sister that leaves her little sister alone.....

so i went to my class. my heart beating. i felt a little excited. this is my first time into my class. my uniform are not same like when i was kindergarten, and this makes me nervous. so i enter my class.

so many people with same age as me. but the number of people in the class in school is larger than the number  of people in class in kindergarten, and this is my first experience facing this thing. i search for a free seat, and again, many seat has full. so i walk until at the most behind seat,

"hey! we meet again!"

it was surprising. i met him again.

"sit beside me! quick! there's a free seat beside me!"

and i rushed to sit near him.

"wow, we are so lucky to meet again. let's study together."

"alright."

i actually really nervous because i don't know anyone from this school, but luckily i met him. he is my first friend. since then, we are really close together.

we always meet at the bus and went to school together, and went back home with the bus.

people even said we are really close to each other.

once, people said that we are a couple for being too close, but K brushed them off with "yeah we are close, so what?"

From then on, there's a feeling in my heart that i can't understand. i don't know what is this feeling. somehow this feeling made me confused. but i don't know whether i should tell this to my parents or to my sister.

until i watch a movie where a hero kisses his princess. at that time i though is this is what i have felt?
i was really confused, and daring. really really daring.

by tomorrow, i met him, and.......kiss him at public during recess. and at the same time my sis saw what i have done. i cause an uproar for the whole school. by that time, i realize i have done something that really shameful. i cannot even look at anyone face.

but he.... he still meet me after school and went back home together. he is really kind. and i felt regret for what i have done to him. i am so childish.

and at that night, my parent know this incident (because my sis told my parents....). dad really furious with me and told me never to do this again. but i mistake with what dad really mean. i thought dad hate me be friends with K. so i avoid him for until i was in second grade.

i tried to not meet him. but he still try to meet me no matter how. until he's in my class.

"hey.."

i said to him "who are you?" and turn my face to him.

"...please don't do this to me...." and he started crying.

"M! how could you do this to him! he has come and trying so hard to meet you! why you treat him like this?! poor K for doing this?!" said another girl who see this.

"so what? i don't care."

he looks really sad.... i turn my face away from him. cut that out. i'm not the bad one! stop look at me with your crying face! your face make my heart torn out.

"enough, K. stop being friends with her anymore. there are a lot of friends that are WAY MUCH BETTER THAN HER." said the girl and pull him away from my sight.

he still look at me and crying. stop it.....

and again, many people look at me with a really different sight. like i am a bad person here. this is much better this way.

that was the last time i met him.

i continue my life. until i was in 4th grade, my family has to move out again. this is quite sudden, but it's better, because i can forget my dark past and start a new life.

until the last day at school before i move out, i met him again.

he walk happily with his male friends until our eyes met. he look at me with no expression face. and so do i.

past against each other

no hard feelings

"hey, hey, hey, i heard both of you are so close to each other, why aren't you talk to her?" said one of his friend. his word startled me. i stood there.

"oh, her? she is so MENGADA-NGADA(concoct, fabricate, invent, i'm not so sure....)!!"

damn him! why should i tell him i will move out? hmph! forget it!?

and goodbye... my first love.......

and so i continue my life.

but still,  though many time has passed, i still never forget him.

whenever i remember of him, the guilt has grown inside my heart. because this is my first time hurting a boy, and a really great friend. i still keep this inside my heart.

"i'm sorry" said my sis.

"for what?" i ask her.

"for destroying your relationship with K."

"nah, it's not your fault, it should be my fault."

"but he's your first love right?"

"no he's not! he's my.... first friend!"

"but what will you do if you meet him?"

"what will i do?"

"will you declare your love again?"

"cut that out!? no! the first thing i must do when i meet him should be 'i'm sorry'. i want to say i'm sorry to him. for hurting his heart. that is all."

"that's all?"

"yes! that's all!"

"may you can meet him again."

"yeah," but do i have the courage to meet him? i don't know, but what i do know, i must say i'm sorry to him.

from wikipedia: Ibn Tufail was the author of Ḥayy ibn Yaqẓān (حي بن يقظان Alive, son of Awake), also known as Philosophus Autodidactus in the West, a philosophical romance and allegorical novel inspired by Avicennism and Sufism, and which tells the story of an autodidactic feral child, raised by a gazelle and living alone on a desert island, who, without contact with other human beings, discovers ultimate truth through a systematic process of reasoned inquiry. Hayy ultimately comes into contact with civilization and religion when he meets a castaway named Absal. He determines that certain trappings of religion, namely imagery and dependence on material goods, are necessary for the multitude in order that they might have decent lives. However, imagery and material goods are distractions from the truth and ought to be abandoned by those whose reason recognizes that they are distractions.

Ibn Tufail's Philosophus Autodidactus was written as a response to al-Ghazali's The Incoherence of the Philosophers. In the 13th century, Ibn al-Nafis later wrote the Al-Risalah al-Kamiliyyah fil Siera al-Nabawiyyah (known as Theologus Autodidactus in the West) as a response to Ibn Tufail's Philosophus Autodidactus.

My Science Project

welcome my reader, today i, Yaqzan, the dropped-out scholar,is making a science project. our topic for making this project is 'the new law of energy'.

everyone must have always known about the  law of energy right? you know, about when the electrical energy change to kinetic energy, an excess energy like heat or others will release and when this continues it will cause the cycle of electrical energy to kinetic energy will stop right? you see, what if we make the excess of the other energy into its another source of energy?

it sure is sound complicated, and some might not understand what i am saying, let me give you an example. we know in this world, there is a food chain, start with grass, we know that herbivores eat grass right? and then carnivores eat herbivores. that is the most common chain food, but how to continue this cycle? some of the readers might cannot relates with what i am saying, patient.

this food chain will becoming infinite when there is decompose that decomposed the food whether at the end of the cycle or at any stage of the cycle. does anyone understand what i am saying? i am saying if, IF we can make the cycle of the energy into another energy and the heat energy also becoming the source of the energy, we can make the infinite energy that can run for a really long time! (MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!) actually i can said forever, but i though when the energy cycle continues, there must be another kind of energy that still release from the cycle and cause this cycle to stop. just like human, story, etc, everything that starts must have ending. i will have my nobel prize!!

but however, because of my idea, i got kicked out from the university, saying i am blabbering something impossible, and they want me to give them proof, and unfortunately i don't have any proof..... they even saying i plagiarised somebody's idea, i didn't realised somebody had already though of this idea........ damn, i should read more books........
