Once
upon a time, there’s a man who control this world with full of cruelty and
darkness……
The
land was sought; the enslavement of human and monster suddenly appeared the
entire world for just one man desire. His name is Volno.
The
world is dying……humans……plants…..everything just perishes……..
Suddenly,
his tale is unheard for….
The
land come back to life……..and the life goes on……as the story ends……..
(closed
the book)
“ok
guys, go to sleep now. It’s already late.” Sarah closed the book and get ready
to leave.
“Aww…come
on….tell us more stories….please…” says Wedge.
“Are
you kidding me?! How many times do I need to read the bedtime story?! I’m tired
you know? Tomorrow I have to take care of you all!” looks like Sarah has gone
mad….
“Where’s
mommy? I haven’t seen her lately.” Ask Noil.
“She’s…..umm……argh!
Whatever! All I know is go to sleep! Tomorrow we have to work!” Sarah pushes
Noil and Wedge on bed and slams the door.
“Why
she has to mad at us? Just because she’s older doesn’t mean…… she can order us
everything…..” said Wedge as he began to sleep.
Noil
turned his body to look at the sky. As he sees the stars, he remembers the
story Sarah told. He wished to be the hero and save the world. And how he dreams
an adventure that he will never forgets.

“WAKE
UP WEDGE!!! “Sarah shouts at Wedge.
“mmnng….ngh…”
Wedge just turns around. Sarah blood began pumping up. She makes a strong fist
at Wedge’s face.
PUNNNNNCHH!!!!
“OOOWWWW!!! That hurts!” Wedge wake up while touching his
injured face. He’s really angry right now and wants to hit Sarah back but
cancelled it because she looks really furious right now. Noil sits near the
door and watches the drama made by his siblings.
“soon,
winter is coming. I want you and Noil goes and takes firewood.” Said Sarah as she lifts Noil and put him aside
and began to carry brushes.
“Why
do I have to bring Noil?” says Wedge with furious.
“so
you can’t run and slacking away.” And she goes out from house to the barnyard
to take care of the cow and sheep. That’s the only thing for the three siblings
can do for taking care of the house while their parents away. Their father is a
farmer and their mother is a housewife. But due to some reason, Sarah has to
take care of her two brothers while they are away. Sarah doesn’t tell why her
parents absent to her brothers.
“hmmph,
come on Noil,” says Wedge with full of boredom while thinking how to avoid from
doing this job. The sun has risen a little bit higher, but inside the forest,
Noil and Wedge can’t feel the warmth of light. This makes Wedge feels lazier to
find the woods.
“Alright,
I want you to find the firewood, find the tree bark or any kinds of dry woods
you can find and put it near me. And I sit here waiting, you got that?” ask
Wedge. Noil nodded as he understands his big brother words. “Alright, let’s
begin.” And Wedge began to lie down and continue his dream world.
Noil looks at his brother. He wakes Wedge up.
”What…?” says Wedge full of anger. “Which direction should I go?” ask Noil.
Wedge look at him furiously.
“just
go whichever you want to go, just don’t disturb me and come back after you have
done.” And Wedge continues to sleep again.
Noil
walks while collecting the firewoods. As he collects the firewood, he looks at
his surroundings. For a normal person, this is just a normal forest, but for a
5-year-old child, this is like a dark, big and silent forest. Noil remembers the bedtime story Sarah told
about. His blood began to boil. I want an adventure; his heart began to move
faster. And he put all the firewood except one to mark his way so he won’t get
lost. Noil walk, and as he walk, he saw the mountain, lake, and many beautiful
scenery that is so beautiful.
As
he walks near to the downhill, he saw the darkness. That darkness engulfs all
the light around it. Don’t enter it, his heart tells him. Noil began to step away.
PRAK…Noil
slipped his feet….
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

“Ouch..”
Noil touch his head, he might have hurt his head. But more than that, Noil realise he has enter the darkness. Noil
looks up. He saw the light, but it is quite hard for Noil to climb it. Noil
tries to find another way. He looks around him. It is too dark to see inside.
All Noil can do for now is to look for another way through his sense of touch. Moments later, he can see his surroundings
dimly. He saw a heavy iron door that
open a little bit, enough for him to enter. As he enters the door, he saw a
big, invisible crystal; inside it is a big egg. He touches the crystal.
Why
is an egg doing in there? His though began to wonder. As he touch the crystal,
the surface of the crystal began to warm, and the crystal is break!

“Hmmm….”
Noil began to wake up. He feels really tired, hunger and sleepy. He feels like
he couldn’t move anymore. But he tries to move with all his might. He walks
around to find another way out.
As
he walk….BAMMM!! He falls into a hole!
SPLASHHH!!!
A running river pushes Noil to the flow. Noil struggles to rush to the surface,
but the current is too strong for him to reach the surface. But Noil did not give up, he push his limit
to reach the surface. And he manages to reach the surface of the river he sees
a waterfall just in front of him…..
WAAAAHHHH……..
SPPPPPLASHHHHHH!!!!!
Noil
unconscious for a second and regain his conscious back. He swam to reach the
surface. As he manages to reach the surface of water, he swims as fast as he
can to reach the land.
He
finally made it to the land. He lies down tiredly. It’s already night,
everybody must be really angry at him. But he feels really satisfied for this
adventure and how he really wants to continue this journey. He feels that Sarah
and Wedge won’t believe in him if he says that he saw an egg in a crystal.
GGRRROOWWWLLLL…..
His
stomach is grumbling. It is time to go back home. Noil gets up and looks around
him. He saw a big smoke and a big light at his house direction. Why is that?
Noil
stands up and rushes to his home. His surprise makes him forget all his
tiredness and hunger and cause him to move faster than normal. And as he almost
reaches his home, he saw his village burnt!
Noil
tries to see anybody, but there are no people outside. He tried to take a peek
at some of the building but it’s too hot to get near until he found a burned house
made of brick. He can get near at the brick house. He takes a peak. He couldn’t
see anybody except weird creatures lying inside the burned buildings.
Since
there is no people around this village, Noil go back to his home. And his home
also burned out brightly. He tries to enter the house but it’s too hot to enter
it. Noil, wish for Sarah at the barnyard, goes to the barnyard. When he enters,
all the animals have died, Noil look around while panicking, worrying for Sarah
safety.
KRAKK!!
The fire grew stronger, and a falling big fire wood pieces drop. Noil has to go
out.
As
he goes out, he found Wedge. Relieved, he run towards Wedge “Wedge!!” .
“DEMON!”
shout Wedge. Noil surprised with his brother’s words.
“DEMON!
How dare you to come and destroyed my home!” shout Wedge with his crying face
while holding a stick. He run with his might to attack Noil back. Noil avoid
his attack again and again. As Noil try to speak….
“HOW
COULD YOU!! Give me back mom and dad! Give me back Sarah!” Wedge shouts as he
swing the stick really hard. The stick manages to hit Noil but it breaks with
one hit.
Noil pushed him away, Wedge fall down, and
this time he found a hoe. Noil has no choice but run from his own brother that
already gone mad. And as he running away, Wedge said “GIVE ME BACK NOIL!!!!!”

Noil
run and run and run until he reaches the river that he stops by. Too many
things happened, Noil couldn’t understand anything. All he can do is drink
until he satisfies his thirst. Then he realise something in his reflection. He
couldn’t see it clearly until the moon come out and show his face.
A
monster with a big sharp teeth reflection was appeared in river.
He
jump back, surprise with what has happened to him. And he tries to look back
again. He also looks at his hands. The hand has a sharp claw.
As he
look at himself more clearly, he realise he cannot go back to meet Wedge
anymore. Why is this happening? What happened to Sarah? What happened to
everyone in the village? And why i…. i… becoming into a monster?
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”
Noil shouts out loud, cry for sadness that befalls him.
