my favoroute song this ramadan!!
the english version of nocturne. very mystical and interesting, but there are many more songs that can stirs my heart!!
Sufi music
this song heal my heart with it's wonderful melodies. and it stirs my souls deep within the core/
ney taksimi
a Turkish instrument, a flute, that always played by the sufi in another way to do zikr. i once heard from a friend that during the ottoman empire, the instrument always played in the hospital to heal not the body of the patient, but also his soul.
zikr-call of a sufi
this is another video that i like. the zikr makes me feels really comfortable for this ramadan.
may those who listen this gain calm and comfortableness during this ramadan and having a very good day!
nocturne
this songs gives me an idea. an idea where there is a world nobody should ever interfere. and here the story begins.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………
In the night, the glitters ray of light began to shun in the
sky. The beginning of the day will come. The mightiest creature, the Moen,
standing on top of the hill, watching every creature movement began to move.
However, he is not watch to make a move on any creature, because he is a
nocturne. He will prepare himself to fly back to his home. He jumped, and opens
his wings as he falls because it is much enjoyable for him to do so. His mouth
has sharp teeth that can tore any flesh, and even hard woods, his arm that has
5 sharp claws that looks similar to human hands, but bigger, his eyes are big
and yellow and he can see at day and night and his tail are strong and tough
just as his skin. Some says he is a dragon, but he is not, some says he is a
griffin, but he is not, but the most said he is a cursed being, a being who
devours and destruct any creature that come to him. However, nobody could tell
the truth, because nobody knows the truth. He looks around on his way home.
It’s as if he search for something in his eyes.
Yes.
He searches for his kind. Long before, when Moen was young, he lives with his parents, the only similar being like him that he has ever seen in his life. Time moves too slow for him and his family but not for others. However, Moen’s family gone, leaving him all alone in this world. But Moen can survive, his instinct and power helps him to survive. Now he is the most powerful creature in this valley. All animals will run from him. He can eat even the strong tiger as his lunch. Yes, he is strong, but he is not really strong. He is not strong because he’s dying with loneliness. He needs a mate. He needs somebody who can save him from loneliness.
The sun rises, and again, he can’t found what he really
wants. He saw a river. He landed near a river although he is not thirsty
because his primary instinct told him to come here. After he landed with his 4
feet, he stand with 2 feet and closed his scaled wing to walk around the river.
He look a little bit like a human, but he never know what a human is as he
never sees them. He walks, and walks. As he walks, he can feel it; his instinct
tells him there is something, something that can fulfill what he really wants.
And he realize that what he felt is not an instinct, it’s a pheromone, a power
that connects the being to be mate. He is happy. He found his mate. A female Moen,
a similar being just like him. But when he comes near her, she growl against
him. She is injured, and wants to be left alone.
Seeing how badly her injury is, he roars angrily to those
who hurt his precious bride. She must be treated, but she still doesn’t want
any creature to get near her. And by his instinct, he flies through the forest
and search for the herb. When he found the herb, he rolls his body to crush the
herb and stick the herb to his body. He flew to his bride. When he arrived, she
still gnarls against him, but the smell of the herb relieved her pain a little
bit. She slowly let down of her guard, and let him near her.
Daylight has come, and this can make her uncomfortable with
the sunlight. He lifts her up and flies to his nest.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Inside the cave
The sun has risen, making the world warmer with every light
that comes thru the world. But lies in the corner of the mountains, a cave
unseen by the sun, makes the cave still act as a night for the poor female Moen.
She lies in the bed of hay made by him, the male Moen whom he brought her to
his nest. When she lies on the hay, her pain relieved a little. As her pain at
ease, she felt sleepy and sleep on the hay. The male Moen arrived with his
prey. And as he seen her lying comfortable, he put aside his dead prey and open
his wings a little and curl around her body to keep her warmth.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Time has passed; the female Moen’s body is recovered. But
she still rests inside the nest because the sun still up. And she is not
resting alone, she resting together with the male Moen. During the time she
injured, he keeps giving him herbs to cure her pain and food. She couldn’t eat
the raw prey so he had to burn the food until she can eat it. If she is
thirsty, he brings a bowl of water to quench her thirst. And most of all, he
always curl around her to keep her warm. This skin ship makes her comfortable
to sleep and makes his loneliness go away.
He is really happy because it is not a dream for him. She is
real. And she is alive.
Night come. It is a full moon, the night where moonlight
illuminated the land. He comes out to go hunting again. But this time, she
comes out and meets him. This is her first time she came out from the cave. She
walks near him and looks around her surroundings. By the time she finished
looking around, she realize he is the king of this valley. And she fascinated
with her discovery.
And he makes a howl; a howl where every corner of the valley
can hear the howl. The howl echoes and slowly died down. He repeats and again
it echoes and it died down. Usually it is done by animals like wolf to call for
his pack, but for him, he calls her to ask to mate with her.
She looks at him. Their eyes met. He stops his howling. She
comes near him and smells him. She tried to know him. His distinguishable figure,
his sharp teeth and claw, and his eyes.
Slowly, she rubs her head against his shoulder. She caresses
him with her skin slowly and gently.
It is the sign. She sees him as her soul mate. The moon has
become their witness. These pair of Moen is now soul mates.

i know, this story is weird. but don't ask me why. it just come you know, the feelings when you got something that stirs your heart. and when i read it back, it excites me. is this the feeling of the writers? or it's just my own imagination trying to fit the song. and actually, this isn't my depiction of Moen, but i can't describe this animals (i can't draw it, damn!) so i searched the most similar animal that can describe this monster, dragon.

unconditional love
an old man, retired from his old work long ago....
"god. the lord of law and universe."
all of his children grow up and all are walking to their own journey in their life.
now he live alone in his old house, not leaving for his memories with his beloved wife, who has departed ealier than him.
but he doesn't feel lonely.
he accept his fate and live his life as fully as he can.
until one day, he walk out from the house to buy some groceries.... he saw a boy with all of his orange fall out from his bag.
"watch out little one!" he shout to the boy.
the boy doesn't reply his shout.
the boy crawling and move to get all of his oranges. until one of the orange rolling until to the old man's feet. the old man take the orange and give it to him.
"here you go, little one."
the boy take the orange and said "thank you very much..."
"next time be careful okay, little one?" and the old man walk away from the boy.....
....but he was stopped by the boy. the boy then take money out of his pocket and give it to the old man "here,"
puzzled by this situation, the old man asked "why are you giving me money?"
the boy replied "because you helped me."
the old man shakes his head and said "but i don't want your money."
"there's no way you don't want anything from me, sir." the boy's face look serious.
"what do you mean?"
"when people helping something for other people, they must have reason to do that. i don't know why you want to help me, but i just can give you this money. take it, sir."
this really shocked him. he cannot believe such words come out from this boy's mouth. but it is true that most people always doing something good by believing they will get something in return. the old man chuckling. there are many more for you to learn for this world. now he has the feeling to teach this boy something important. something the humanity should have.
"little one, how many oranges in your bag?"
"ten, sir."
"how many orange if 10 oranges -1 oranges?"
"nine, sir."
"then how many orange if the 9 oranges - 9 oranges?"
"nothing."
"yes, your answer is correct logically."
"what do you mean sir?"
"then, another question, you have this 10 oranges, and you meet a person who really needs 10 oranges right now. how much will you give it to him?"
".... 5 maybe...."
"why you didn't give him all of your oranges? you can actually buy another oranges later."
"why should i? i bought the oranges, why should i give it all? i only get nothing."
"logically."
"why you say like that? what do you mean by logically?"
"you have been to school, learning maths, science, language and anything, but that doesn't cover everything. the world is more than that. little one, in math, it is true that when you minus one with one, you get nothing, but you actually gain something ten times, just in another way."
"no way."
"it is true, little one. open up your eyes and look at everything you have. you will realize it."
"but doesn't that same with what i'm said? people do have reason to help somebody."
"yes, but not to the person that we help."
"then who?"
"god. the lord of law and universe."
"if that is true, why many people doesn't believe in that?"
"many people. not the world, little one."
"what do you mean, sir?"
"if many people doing the bad thing and say it right, will you follow it?"
"maybe."
"that kind of thinking is wrong. bad things is the bad things. just because many people follow it doesn't mean it is right. you have to be wise when following something."
"....." the boy look down, embarrassed from the old man.
"now, do you get the message that i want to give to you?"
"yes..."
"what do you understand?"
"not everything can be logically happen...."
"and?"
"... there are things in this world that are more than gaining and losing."
"and there are many more you have to learn little one. you still have a long way to go."
"yes sir."
the old man smiles. "now go home little one, your parent's will be worry if you doesn't go home yet."
"wait sir!" said the boy.
"yes?" ask the old man.
"can i meet you again?"
the old man smiles at him and say "of course you can little one. someday, come to my home. i will treat you with my delicious cookies."
"and i can learn many more things with you." said the boy with his eyes full of enthusiasm.
"yes! that is true." and the old man takes out a paper and a pen and write his address and give it to the boy. "next time, come with your parents too. i'm sure they also delighted to taste my special cooking at my home."
"yes sir! thank you very much!" and the boy running home as fast as he can until the old man cannot see the boy anymore.
the old man walks slowly, reminiscing the moment that happen earlier. "we might be fated to meet, little one. but i don't know what kind of story you will make in this world. but there is one thing i know, all this happen because of love from god, the one who greatly loves all his creature on earth."
