once upon a time, there is a wise man who live a simple life. he has so many students at his own school. one day, he come to the school at an early morning on a day where his student won't come because it is a summer break day. and he found his youngest pupil on this school running as fast as he can to come to his class. he follow his pupil. and when the pupil come to his class, he really shocked because he found that nobody in his class and muttering to himself.
the wise man reach to him and ask....
Master: what did you muttering my pupil?
Pupil: Ma...Master! I...I'm sorry! i didn't realise today is a holiday! i though late! but.... i guess today is not my lucky day......
Master:(hmm....) come here, i pour some tea to you,
The pupil follow his teacher to a guest room with a table and a clay teapot with two clay cup. the wise man pour the tea to his pupil and pour full tea to himself.
the pupil drink the tea.the tea taste really delicious. he drink it slowly to savor the taste, until he finished it.
the wise man pour him another tea in his cup again.
the pupil repeat again.
and the wise man do it again.
not long after that, the tea in teapot runs out.
Master: oh, the tea has run out, wait here, i make some more for you again.
the wise man goes and back to bring another tea. the pupil drink again until the tea runs out again.
and he goes and back to bring the same tea in his teapot. now, it's the fifth time he goes and back, this time the wise man pour a clear water to his pupil's cup. the pupil drinks it.
Pupil: my goodness! this is not a water! this is a really tasty tea! it's like it has more than 5 kinds of tea inside it!
Master: no, it is a water. it's just that you have drink this special tea that can change the taste in your mouth when you drink water after you have drink this tea.
Pupil: what! isn't that the tea that only the royal can afford it?!
Master: yes, you got that right.
Pupil: forgive me master! i'm sorry for finished your tea!
Master: no need to say sorry, instead i should said thanks to you.
Pupil: why master?
Master: yesterday night, a friend of mine suddenly gave me this tea. a bundle of it. i'm happy for it, but i can't finish this tea, but the tea will goes bad if i leave it in 2 days. i have drink 3 teapot of this tea, so i come to the school to find my pupils to finish this bundle of tea. and i also realise today is a holiday. i though what a waste.... until you have come. now i realise if all my pupil come, they might not savor the greatness of this tea. but you know the greatness of this tea. and i really grateful for that.
Pupil: (shy) ma..master, you're flattering me.
Master: and the way you finish this tea, you must have not eating for 3 days, hahahaha.
Pupil:(look down and silent)
Master: aww, don't be sad, this time let me bring you another delicious delicacy.
Pupil: (shakes head) no master, i have had enough, i doesn't deserve this many luck.
Master: DON'T SAY LIKE THAT!!!
Pupil: (surprised!!)
Master: destiny has choose you to come today and give you the deliciousness of this tea! young man, you should be thanks to god!! he gives you this wonders! you deserves it!!
Pupil: but i'm just a poor person, i don't think i deserves it....
Master: if god want to give you something, he will give it! it doesn't have to do with status or anything. be positive my pupil, not everything is bad. as long you thankful to god, he will give you more.
Pupil: yeah, thank you very much master.
Master: (smile) alright now, i have so many delicious cookies from my friend, would you like some?
Pupil: yes master!
and so the pupil thanks to his master and trying his best to live his life full of thankfulness. oh, and at the same time, he just drink water for a month because his mouth still has the flavor of the tea. hahahahaha.
