Matt search for the old man. and after a while, he found the old man bedridden in his old house.
the old man looks so tired, like he hasn't got any sleep for a few days. when Matt comes near him, he woke up.
"who is that?"
"it's me, the boy who you saved before."
"you? why are you coming back, didn't i told you never come back again..."
"i know i should repay your kindness, but i have a request."
"what is it?"
"can i bring my family to live in this place? we having a trouble living on our city."
"NO!"
"but..."
"NO! THAT IS MY ANSWER! YOU WHIPPERSNAPPER! BRING NOTHING BUT TROUBLE! THIS IS WHY I HATE COMMONERS AND CHILDREN! GET OUT! GET OUT!!! GGGEEEETTT OOUUUTTT!!!"
and he fainted.
"old man! OLD MAN!"
the old man is having a bad fever. Matt nurse the old man for a few days until he woke up. Matt though he will get scold again but the old man just silent while he nursed him.
".... no matter what.... i still need somebody to dig my grave...."
listening to the old man's word make him feels sad for the old man. thus, Matt asked him.
"why you live alone in this village?"
the silent moment come from the old man. a few moments later, he spoke.
"long ago, there was a town. this town are well known for its special mineral."
"in this town, there is a mayor. and this mayor does not satisfied with the money he got from its people. thus he increased the tax, increased the imported minerals and reduced the commoners salary. of course the mayor becoming rich and richer, but the people cannot live like this. and then, little by little, the people move out from the town. still, the mayor doesn't realize his mistakes and continue increasing the tax and imported minerals. until one day, the land cannot give the town any minerals. the people getting mad by what the mayor has done. and still, the mayor does not realize his own mistakes and keep demanding its people to keep on digging the land to find the minerals. alas, the land still did not giving any minerals to this town. the mayor becoming angry why the people does not come to his house and tells any news. he come out from his house, and what a surprise, he was the only one left in this town."
"and now the mayor live alone, in this ghost town for his own with his treasure that is useless..." the old man ends his story.
now Matt understand what really happened to this place. he began to pity this man. "old man, don't be sad, we can revived the town back."
"don't be ridiculous, we don't have anything that can help the town to revived. what can you and this old bone do?"
"you don't have to worry about that, i have an idea as long you willingly to help me."
"help you what?"
"can you help me let my families come and live with you?"
