For the 'Valkyries' has arrived!!

The horses carries the man in armors, marching valiantly towards the enemy.
"It's the Valkyries !!!"
"they have arrived!!"
"OUR HEROES!!"
Shout the people as they march while slaying the enemy. They mercilessly slaying each of the enemies with excitement.
The number of the enemies dropped sharply as they come in front of them.
"Valkyrie!! I will end your lives!!" shout the general of the enemy toward the leader of Valkyries.
"Very well, bring it." said the leader.
Both of them march their horses with swords.
"AAAHH!!"A full swing coming from general makes Valkyrie leader dodge the attack!
The leader strikes back furiously with an amazing speed!
But that doesn't mean the general can't fight back!
the battle is heated with each moment as each swing of each opponent grew stronger.
Finally the general use his sword to stab the Valkyrie's head!
SCHREACK!!
oh no! the Valkyrie's helmet is broken! the Valkyrie manage to dodge this dangerous moment and counter back with a stab to the general!
"No way..." said the general as he is in disbelief.
"I'm being defeated by a woman....?" and he fall from his horse.
The enemies surprised with their general, and flee from the battle.
The Valkyrie look down at the general who gasped for his breath is clotted with blood.
"Is that all you got?" ask the Valkyrie. She doesn't even show a sign of tired.
"yo-you monster..." said the general as he is very angry with his losses.
"yes, we the Valkyries are a monster who will overturn this war and be the legend!"
"legend...? heh..." the general is dying, yet he can't help but laugh at her ambition.
"what is your name, legend?"
"Lilith."
"well then legendary Lilith, please honor my death."
"with pleasure." and she end his life with a fatal stab.
and from that moment on, The Valkyries continue their legend until the land knows their name and the war ends.
But there is a story not many people know about the Valkyrie's leader, Lilith after the war.

The Popoi village has not many people. They mostly rely the river as their source of daily life. Most of the young have gone to the city, and the elder, woman and children lived there.
A woman have come into the village.
"This must be the place where Lady Lilith's hometown is."

"Mister, I have collect the straw." Said Astral, a young, small and frail boy.
"hmm, this should be enough for the cow, now take these grains, boy." said the farmer as he gives him a small bag of grains enough for him to carry.
"thank you." and he goes to his home.
"such a hard-working child.... if only he is not weak...." said the mother of the farmer as she watches the boy.
"It is too pitiful, seeing the weak child degraded to collect straws only." said the farmer.
"if only her mother is sane, she should had thrown the child when he was born..." said the mother.
"true..." reply the farmer.
in this age, the people were valued by their strength and power. Therefore the babies when they are born they will be checked. if the baby is weak, they will be thrown into cliffs. that is the fact that the people are born with.
Astral bring the bag carefully as he aware of his condition.
A woman saw Astral's behavior and approaching him.
"Child, do you know where the Valkyrie's legendary leader, Lilith is?"
"Huh? you want to meet my mother?"
"Huh? your mother?" ask the woman as she surprised with his answer. She look carefully of his figure.
"How old are you?"
"I'm 6, soon I will be 7."
She realize he looks weaker and smaller than the boy his age should be. There's no way he is her child, that woman is the type who will discard the weak and keep the strong.
"Is there anyone name Lilith?"
"Only my mother."
"Is this Popoi Village?"
"Yes it is."
Now that woman is very confusing. How can this be happening? but at the same time she realize the time he is born is almost same with the time she's gone after winning the war.
"Very well, let me meet your mother." said the woman.
"alright." and Astral bring her to his mother.
They arrive at a house made of clay and hay. It looks old and small.
"UAAAHHHH!!!!" a loud cry is heard inside the house.
"What is that?" ask the woman.
Astral run inside the house
"Mom, I'm back."
"UEEENNN!!!" shout a woman with an unkempt hair and wearing shabby clothes. She run as fast as she can toward Astral and hug him.
"There, there, mom. I'm back."
"uuuu...." finally she calm down.
"...?! LADY LILITH!!??" That woman was very surprised as she finally realised that insane woman is Lilith.
"...So the rumors that you kill a dragon and sold your sold to devil is true?" said the woman with tears.
"what? Who said that?" ask Astral with surprise.
"I have heard before that Lady Lilith has gone insane because she sold her soul to devil and she is crippled because she killed a dragon."
"No. You are very wrong."
"What?"
"She become like this because before she depart she fell from horse and hit her head from the ground."
"..... (-_-)...."
the situation become awkward.
Astral continue again.
"since she has turn out like this, my father married her because nobody else can take care of her."
"................(=_=) ...."
Both of them is silent again. This is very awkward.
"no... this can't be happening.... the revival of the Valkyries now becoming hopeless..." sigh the woman as she look at Lilith.
"Why you want to revive the Valkyries?"
"Ever since Lady Lilith is gone, The Valkyries becoming weaker than before. More people have retired from battle and some who try to be the leader even killed easily in battle because they lack charisma. Now only I am the loyal member of the Valkyries left...."
"Isn't the war is over? Why you still continue to battle?"
"Hah. A weak child like you don't understand. We live with our motto be the strong, kill the weak. Our life is to fight in the battle and continue to be a legend. Furthermore child, that motto is what your mother have created." said the woman as she pointed her finger toward Lilith.
"then what will you do for now?" ask Astral.
"I will bring Lady Lilith to the mercenaries, and bring her to the battlefield to let her remember her own self. I won't allow the Valkyrie to end in this way." said the woman. She is serious about it.
Astral look at her mother. She smile at him back.
Astral then turn to face the woman and said "no."
"what?"
"my mom is not the same person as before."
"Shut your mouth! Who are you to decide what she should do?!"
But Astral just look at the woman with serious face. He mean to keep firm with his answer.
"You weak brat!!" and she kick him until he flew away.
Kick!!
Astral fell down lying in pain.
A murderous intent come toward the woman. She quickly draw her sword and defense herself with an ambush attack. It is Lilith that attack her with her might.
"Lady Lilith! You have come to your senses!"
But it was not. Lilith fiercely attacking her brutally with her bare hand and teeth.
"SHHAAAAAHHH!!" Shout Lilith. Her shout is very loud and it can make people stunned with her voice.
"Lady Lilith! It is Rosa, your loyal Valkyrie!!" said the woman.
But that does not help. Lilith attacks becoming quicker and fierce. Rosa have no choice but to attack her with the sword. Even using sword doesn't even hurt her. Lilith becoming agile and strong like a beast.
Rosa have no choice "Please forgive me Lady Lilith!!" and Rosa try to swing her sword to her with all her might.
But what a surprise, Lilith march her upfront and
SMACK!!
giving her a quick blow at the jaw.
"uhh.." Grunt Rosa as she almost fainted from the attack.
Lilith is now on top of her holding the sword that she dropped. Rosa is shudder in fears.
"Lady Lilith..." said Rosa, but that doesn't change Lilith to point the sword to her neck.
"MOM!!!"
a shout from behind startled Lilith. she turn her back quickly.
"Look mom, I'm alright. Look, look." Said Astral as he stand up and moves as he is fine.
"WAAA!!" Cry Lilith and she let go of the sword and hug Astral.
"Yes mom, I'm fine, I'm fine." But Lilith examine his body to make sure he is fine.
"huu...." Now Lilith calm down with relief.
"ooh...." Rosa stand up slowly. Lilith stand her guard against her.
"Lady Lilith..." plea Rosa, but Lilith does not shows any sign that she knows her subordinate.
"....." Rosa just can held her tears after all that have happened.
"... She almost killed me... but how..." ask Rosa as she is in confusion.
"When I was born, I was very sick, that my father though I can't make it. He had though to throw me at the cliff and let me rot. But mom fight him back very furiously and killed him. Everyone even scared of her because she looks like a wounded beast that try to kill everyone at her sight.Until a doctor who happened to come by the town cured me after he makes my mom asleep."
"..."
"I do understand what you want, but my mother is not the same person that you know anymore."
"....Lady Lilith is dead long ago..." said Rosa.
" ? "
"The hero whom I have idolized is truly dead. The person whom I fight just before is just a beast whom wants to protect it's child. Now I have see the end of the Valkyrie..." and she look at the sky.
"...." Astral didn't said anything. He just look at how Rosa hold her sadness.
"Farewell child, I won't come to this place anymore." and Rosa left without ever turning back anymore.
Astral truly understand how Rosa felt at that time. There is nothing more worse than losing the loved one and live in this world as weakling. And he also felt that if his mother is sane, he will be killed right when he born just as other people expect. but Astral doesn't hate Lilith because he knows his mother love him instinctively. It is because of her insanity that he felt love from her.
"mom, today I want to make a bread for you." Said Astral as he pick up the bag of grain that fell before.
"Wehahaha!" Laugh Lilith as she is happy with her son and she hug him with all her love.
"mom..."
"hmm?"
"I love you."
